Hey, hey, hey it's the start of one of the best months of the year, July. The month is named after the great Julius Caesar, who also has a salad named after him.
July is the "official" month of many events you may not know, such as:
American Beer Month
National Ice Cream Month
National Hotdog Month
National Pickle Month
National Watermelon Month
Family Reunion Month
Other events aren't quite on par with these big names and only got a week set aside. These include:
July 12-18: National Laughter Week
July 25-31: National Salad Week
Finally there are those things worth celebrating, but only for a day. They are as follows:
July 1: Canada Day
July 2: World UFO Day
July 4: Independence Day
July 10: Both Cow Appreciation Day and Don't Step on a Bee Day
July 20: National Get Out of the Doghouse Day
July 23: Gourgeous Grandma Day
July 26: National Parents' Day
With all of these holidays, July should keep you busy celebrating all of the finer things in life. If I forgot any, let me know and I'll add them to the list.
Aloha for now.
