Hello all, sorry I've been away, I've had some things to do(shocking I know). I'm somewhat trying to get my life in order and do something besides sit on my couch all day. Anywho, let's look at some of the headlines.

Since bad news usually makes the front page, this story definitely qualifies. A plane crashed in Iran killing all 168 people on board instantly. Of those on board, 10 were part of Iran's junior national judo team. Is it just me, or are there more plane crashes lately?

Beach goers on Long Island got a surprise when a 26-foot-long shark washed ashore yesterday. Imagine that, a shark that's 26-feet-long and weighing 5,000 pounds washes up while your building a sandcastle.

Two U.S. Marines were killed when a bomb exploded right beside them in Afghanistan. Sergeant Anthony Zabala was able to run to safety just before the explosive went off. It's another sad story from the War on Terror.

On a lighter note, a man in New Hampshire was charged $23,148,855,308,184,500 for a pack of cigarettes. I knew they were upping the price, but GGEEEEEZZZZZ!

I posted this story because I like the pictures. link

Finally, the MLB All-Star game was last night and the American League won for the twelfth straight time. Much of the blame for the National League loss goes to the Atlanta Braves' Brian McCann. McCann popped out to the catcher in foul territory in the bottom of the seventh inning and that just sucks.

Move somethin', Shake Ya Tailfeatha

All of the blame goes to Pujols for sucking at 1st base and letting runs score because he can't field a simple grounder... that and the fact that he went 0-3. I once knew this guy who played for this real prestigious school called Arkansas State. His nickname was "crook" relating to his grill. I bet if he would have pitched for the National League, they would have won for sure!

I've heard of who you speak of, and yes the NL would most definitely have been successful if he was on the mound.
