I noticed someone yawned at one of your recent posts due the fact that it was not raunchy enough. The contention of what the public wants to see has left me in confusion for some time. All people do is groan and lament about how tired they are of negative news, yet deep inside it is only that type of news that intrigues them. Instead of the stupid "holidays," let's talk about some of the WEIRD shit that has happened in the month of July, similar to your "1986" post. I use the word weird to keep the floor open to being wholesome or nasty, keeping the main focus on the element of astonishment.

July 19th, 1993:
President Clinton announces the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding gays in the military.

Too bad that policy isn't applicable beyond the military.

Yeah I like this idea, it seems to be a tad bit more insightful than discussing National Hot Dog Month. Which by the way, is something we probably shouldn't ask or tell the homos in the military about.
